On March 21, 2024, PG Semester II students from the Departments of Home Science undertook an educational visit to the NGO DISHA as part of their UG SEC (NGO Management) curriculum. The primary objective of DISHA, NGO is to guide individuals towards a new addiction-free life. The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the NGO’s registration process, operational procedures, employee recruitment practices, funding sources, and documentation processes. Dr. Sunita Kumari, Assistant Pr ofessor, Department of Home Science at Patna Women’s College, along with Dr. Suniti Bhagat, organized and supervised this educational excursion. Subsequently, students were tasked with preparing a comprehensive report based on their observations and analyzing the challenges faced by the NGO in executing its activities.
