Brief Report :
Every year, Carol Singing Competition is organized at Patna Women’s College. Students from various departments took actively participated in both English and Hindi category. The department of Sociology bagged the first prize, Economics 2nd and History 3rd respectively in Hindi Category while the Department of Geography stood first in English. Mixed group 2nd and History 3rd respectively. Father Alvin Vaz S.J. (one of the Panel Judge) motivated the students for their wonderful performances and also appreciated their talent and hard work. He explained the beauty of unity as participants belong to different religion but at a time they believe in one God. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College appreciated the participants for their dedication and hard work to make the event successful. The entire event was coordinated by the Cultural Co-ordinators Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C, Head, Department of Home Science; Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Cultural Coordinator, Performing Arts and Dr. Shefali Roy, Cultural Coordinator, Department of political Science. The entire event took place under the guidance of Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C, Principal, Patna Women’s College.
