Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College in collaboration with St Ann’s College for Women, Osmania University, Hyderabad conducted an online faculty exchange programme on 17.04.2023 at 01:00 pm. The expert lecture was by Dr. Shazia Husain, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College. The topic of lecture was “Nutritional management of type-2 diabetes mellitus”. The lecture included aetiology, prevalence, metabolic derangement, symptoms, diagnosis and nutritional management of diabetes mellitus. Some case studies were also discussed followed by question and answer session. The session was attended by M.Sc. Food and Nutrition & PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics students and faculty of Department of Nutrition, St Ann’s College for Women, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
