The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College Autonomous organised an alumni meet on 16th September 2023 in the department. The program started with lighting the lamp and a welcome song.

Dr. Shemushi Madhu, HOD, the Department of Fashion Designing, initiated the function with a welcome speech. She congratulated them for the progress and achievements in their professional life. She introduced all participant alumni and presented a PPT on the topic “Journey of the department” to show the achievements of the department and well-placed alumni. Student of semester one had arranged for some interesting games for the alumni students. All ten alumni participants explained their profession and career. They also shared their memories and experiences of the department and college. One of our business entrepreneur alumni, Kaveri Singh gave assurance to the current batch of students to join her business named “Khadi Rebellion” for internship, training and experience.

The interactive session of teacher and alumni was interesting and useful for everyone. Initiatives were taken to develop activities in the department related to the field of designing with the collective help of alumni.

At the end of the program, they attended a general alumni meeting in the Veronica Auditorium and visited many newly developed areas of a college campus.
Overall this Alumni Meet 2023, was a wonderful experience to all participants.
