Today NSS students of Patna Women’s College attended a two day workshop on disaster management organised by Caritas India in Patna Science College. The workshop began with an inaugural session with the Vice Chancellor Prof K.C Sinha as the chief guest. Dr. Atulya Aditya Pandey, Director Malaviya Mission Teacher Training, PU & Former NSS Coordinator, PU. Dr. Jaison Varghese, SPM, Global Program India. Prof. Shri Anil Kumar, HOD of Geology, PU. Archbishop Sebastian Kallupura, Chairman Caritas were also present

Second half of the workshop began with the question “what is We4Resillence?” Ms. Rucha Thakar, moderator of workshop briefed about preparation for the camp. Along with this, Mr. Abhishek Kumar and Mr. Amar Kumar Sharma held an interactive session about concept of Disaster Risk Reduction and Volunteering Enrollment Process.
