Brief Report –
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) hosted a Documentary Making Competition on August 4th, 2022, at the Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre, as part of the Azadi ki Goonj, Pragati Ki Aur Agrsar Bharat Scheme. The competition revolved around the theme “Meaning of Freedom: Narratives and Stories in the lanes of Patna.” Esteemed judges for the event included Mr. Amitabh Ranjan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communicative English with Media Studies (CEMS), Mr. Prashant Ravi, Assistant Professor in the Department of CEMS, and Mr. Prashant Ranjan, a Film Critic, Writer, Journalist, and Faculty member at Patna College. The documentaries presented by the participants effectively conveyed the essence of freedom. The program was skillfully moderated and coordinated by the Cultural Coordinators and the Student Council for the year 2022-23. The entire event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the Principal of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous).
