Fresher’s Day Programme UG and PG

The Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, Patna, organized a Fresher’s Day Programme, 2024 on Monday, 29th July, 2024 to welcome the UG and PG Semester – I students.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer service by Sister Anamika Prakash and Sister Salomi Hembrom (UG Semester-I).
The melodious welcome song by Rishita and group (UG Sem – I) filled the atmosphere with liveliness.

Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Department of Zoology, warmly welcomed the freshers. She also welcomed Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head, Department of History and Cultural Coordinator, PWC, Ms. Manisha Prasad, Head, Department of Computer Applications and Cultural Committee Member, PWC and Ms Shristi Tiwari, Premiere, PWC, for taking out time from their busy schedule to attend the programme.

Then the students of PG (SEM – 1) presented a mesmerizing dance performance which created a sense of enthusiasm among the students. Ms.Nandani and Nishi Kumari (PG Sem – 1) sang a beautiful song. Poetry is the best way to convey a thought in a concentrated and lyrical arrangement of words. Saba Praveen and Riya Roy (PG Semester – I) recited their self composed poems. UG Semester – I students presented a group dance.

Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A. C. expressed her appreciation for the impeccable arrangement of the programme and the outstanding performances at the Freshers’ event. She admired that each performance beautifully showcased the talent and dedication of everyone involved.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Shaika Parween PG Sem – I.
Ms Beauti Keshri PG Sem – I was declared MISS FRESHER, 2024.

All the teachers and supporting staff of Department of Zoology were present on the occasion. The programme filled all the Freshers with great enthusiasm and a lifetime memory.
