On the occasion of International Tiger Day (29.07.2024), the ECO Task Force and Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, PU, organized a Quiz Competition on the theme Call For Action by using Mentimeter Software.

Altogether 87 students in groups of two or three (43 groups) from the Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College participated in the competition.

The students were very enthusiastic. They displayed their awareness and consciousness towards the tigers.

The Prize winners were:

1st Prize: Shubhangi Ranjan and Megha Jha, Zoology UG Semester-l (Code 15)

2nd Prize: Mridula Bhardwaj and Anshu Priya, Zoology PG semester lll ( Code 34)

3rd Prize: Bisma Siddiqua and Bidisha Jaiswal, Zoology UG Semester lll ( Code 31)

Consolation: Kumari Annu and Muskan Hussain, Zoology UG Semester V (Code 4)

The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Department of Zoology and Vice President of ECO Task Force. The Quiz Master was Dr. Sapna Kumari, Assistant Professor, Dept of Zoology. Dr Sumeet Ranjan, Dr. Neetu, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Ms Aishwarya Shree and Ms Sidra Perween, Assistant Professors, Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous were present on the occasion. All the students and support staff of the department were also present. The programme was a grand success. It enhanced the knowledge of the students regarding the tigers and their conservation.
