Guest Lecture on ‘Changing Face of Media’
On 22 August 2023, The Department of Mass Communication, Patna Women’s College, organised a guest lecture on ‘CHANGING FACE OF MEDIA”. Renowned Journalist and the founder and editor of Lallantop, Mr Saurabh Dwivedi was the guest speaker. He was accompanied by, Dr Ajay Kumar Pandey, Principal, College of Art and Crafts, Patna.
The session started by welcoming the guests by Ms. Roma, Head, Department of Mass Communication.
Mr Dwivedi motivated the students to become self-dependent, and confident and keep health as a prime factor, increase their knowledge and become financially independent to overcome the differences in gender, class, caste and language.
He spoke on the importance of changing scenario of media and shared his journey with the students.
Towards the end of the session, he interacted with the students and encouraged them to do well in their career.
Ms Ankita, Assistant Professor, proposed the vote of thanks, and other faculty members of the department Mr. Ajay Kumar Jha, Mr. Prashant Ravi,Ms. Divya Gautam, Ms. Aprajita Pathak, Mr. Gaurav Aranya and Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Department of Political Science were also present during the entire event.
