Brief Report of the programme –
Holi Mohotsav was celebrated at Patna Women’s College on 14th March 2019 from 11:30 A.M. onwards. The programme commenced with the ignition of the holika by the honourable Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. along withDr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Dr. Shefali Roy and all the teachers . After, Holika Dehan the anchors invited all the eight dance groups one by one. The audience were mesmerized by the performances on songs like “Ja re natnatkhat’, ‘Phagunwamei’, ‘Holiya meinude re gulall’ and other beautiful songs. After all these powerful performances back to back, the environment was filled with applauses, whistles and enigma of the festival of colors. At last, Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Deptt. of Hindi appreciated the efforts of the participants. She ended her speech with her poem ‘Snehrang me saraborho, khele prem ki holi’. Then, the other Jury member including Ms. Richa advised everyone to have a safe and colourful holi. No holi should be played keeping respect at stake. After this, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal announced the winner of the event. She applauded and appreciated all the performances. Code 3 got the 3rd position, Code 7 got the second position and Code 8 got the first position.
