Let’s Create a Better World with Biodegradables Competition

On 14 July 2023 , The Department of Social Work Organised ‘ Let’s Create a Better World with Biodegradables Competition ‘ on the occasion of ‘World Youth Skills Day’ .The Theme was ‘Empowering Youth for Sustainable future : “Building skills for tomorrow” The students of 3rd semester participated in the competition where they presented their piece of art which they made out of recyclable and biodegradable products. Some of the recyclable materials like clay pot, glass,paper,paint, indoor plants were used by students to prepare their presentation.
In today’s era recycling aims at providing environment sustainability, reduce wastage and brings pollution under control.
The Winners of the Competition were
1st Prize -Monika murarka
2nd Prize -Silvia
3rd Prize: Sanjeevi and Vartika.
The event was judged by Ms. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work, Sister Sanjana A. C , Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work and Akanksha, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work. The event ended up with the prize distribution and the valuable feedback given by the judges.
