Brief Report:
The Guidance and Counselling Centre, Department of Psychology organised a Life Skill Training Programme on Anger Management for the students. Dr. Nupur Sinha introduced the topic. She discussed the concept of anger, and its impact on physical and mental well-being. Then, Ms. Manisha Kumari provided an overview of the causes and effects of anger. She discussed the impact that uncontrolled anger can have on our relationships, health, and overall well-being. She also provided practical tips and strategies for managing anger in a healthy and constructive way.
The training program included interactive exercises and activities designed to help participants develop their anger management skills. There was one role play act. The trainer encouraged participants to share their own experiences and challenges with anger and provided personalized feedback and guidance.
Conclusion: The training program on anger management was a valuable and informative event. Ms. Manisha Kumari provided practical advice and guidance for managing anger in a healthy way, and their interactive approach helped participants develop their skills in this area.
