Brief Report –
Following its yearly tradition, Patna Women’s College organized a patriotic song contest, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of twelve groups. The competition commenced with the first group presenting a captivating patriotic song titled “Ye desh mera jahan…” The event was vibrant with students adorning flag tattoos, tri-colour jackets, and orange turbans, showcasing their colorful spirit. Each group member delivered exceptional performances, receiving applause from the audience. Dr. Bhawna Sinha, the Head of the Department of Computer Applications (MCA) and a judge for the occasion, commended the participants and provided valuable advice to the students. In her speech, Dr. Meena Kishore, Former Head of the Department of Psychology, emphasized the incredible nature of the competition. She also emphasized the importance of embodying patriotism in our hearts and dedicating ourselves to our country beyond just a single day of celebration. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College addressed the participants and praised their performances. At the event, the first prize was awarded to code 12, the second prize to code 10, and the third prize to code 11.
