Poster Making Competition on Anti Ragging Day
Ragging is a serious issue that has plagued educational institutions for many years. To raise awareness about the ills of ragging and to create a ragging-free environment, a poster making competition was organized by the department of Botany on August 17th, 2023 for Sem I students. A total of 10 groups, each comprising 3-5 students, enthusiastically participated in this competition. The panel of judges for the event consisted of faculty members from the department including Dr Pinky Prasad, Head of the Department along with Dr Hena Naz and Dr Anjana Verma, both Assistant Professors.
The first-place honour was clinched by Samiksha Bharti, Amrita Kumari, Muskan Kumari and Nidhi Kumari from Group VIII. Group IX, represented by Palak Sinha, Manisha Kumari, Ayushi Ranjan, Sakshi Kumari and Anushka Singh, secured the second position. The third position was claimed by Priya Singh, Minni Kumari, Sapna and Manaswani Bharti of Group IV.
