PowerPoint Presentation on Internship Projects.

On 11th July 2023, The Department of Social Work organized a PowerPoint Presentation on Internship Projects. The students displayed their Internship reports and explained the work done under different projects of various organisations. The session started with the introduction of their organizations in which they were working as a trainee. They discussed the statement of the problem along with its prevalence and magnitude displaying the NFHS data. Further they discussed their objectives of their organisation as well as their own objectives and the research tools and techniques used in their work under various projects like ‘ Swiss League’ Poshan Vaatika, , Kishore Baithak
Etc under which they worked in various skill development centres and provided primary education and also conducted vocational training program for the adolescents girls and boys coming from various communities, they also held an awareness generation session with the caregivers of the adolescents in order to generate awareness among them about the importance of education and vocational training, and also made them aware about some important govt programmes for adolescents.Students also worked for ‘Sukritya App’ -,Facility Assessment Health and Wellness Schemes like ‘Beti Padhao Beti Bachao’
‘Pradhan Mantri Bal Suraksha Abhiyan’,’Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana ‘,’1000 days approach of baby ‘ etc, under which they worked under PHC’s and CHC’s and also held meeting with the Community health officer, ASHA and ANM’s and understanding the working of the health system at the community level.
Towards the end of their presentations the students displayed their observations and major learning outcomes and supported them with the help of Annexures . Every individual report were assessed individually nd valuable feedback and ideas were given to enhance their work by Ms. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work and Sister Sanjana A. C, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work and Akanksha, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College.
