Brief Report-
Every year, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) hosts its Annual Sports Meet. In 2021, the Sports Meet took place on February 19th. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the College Flag, followed by a grand March Past. The students from the undergraduate programmes across all departments, as well as postgraduate students, actively participated in a variety of sports events. These events included track and field tournaments such as the 100-mts Hurdles, 100-mts, 200-mts, and 800-mts Sprint Races and many more. The Grand Finale witnessed the participation of both teaching and non-teaching Staff, along with 2,500 students. A prize distribution ceremony was held to acknowledge and honor the exceptional performers in the Sports field. The event concluded with a final march past, featuring the third year and PG students, NCC and NSS volunteers, and the College Band. Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Department of Hindi and Sports Coordinator, along with Ms. Shweta Singh, Sports Teacher at Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), coordinated the event. The entire programme was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous).
