VALUE EDUCATION CLASS
The Department of Communicative English and Media Studies conducted a Value Education Class on January 5, 2024, for semester 6 on the film The Great Dictator by Charlie Chaplin. Released in 1940, the film is not just a cinematic masterpiece but also a powerful commentary on the human condition and the need for understanding.
The message delivered in the session was that people must rise up against dictators and unite in peace. There are many political themes present in the speech. Keeping these words in view, the Class Representative showed the video of the speech by Charlie Chaplin from the film The Great Dictator.
Amitabh Ranjan, Faculty of Communicative English and Media Studies shared some questions related to the film.
