The Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College, on 1st October 2023 participated in the “5th Bihar Chhatra Sansad “A program that aims to create the most ethical, spirited and capable leaders in Bihar organised by Bihar Chhatra Sansad in collaboration with “PAGC Foundation ” which works for the upliftment of the marginalized sections of society, with a special focus on women’s empowerment, Gender equality and elimination of period shaming.
The main aim of the program was to create a new vision of Bihar and bring back the youths to politics.
The students of the Department of Social Work worked as team members in the organising committee for this and actively participated in it.There were more than 20 speakers across the nation with whom they interacted and shared their experiences.
Their extra efforts and contribution towards the event were recognised by the organisation and they were felicitated on stage by *Dr Maulana Kalbe Rushaid Rizvi.
*Dr Maulana Kalbe Rushaid Rizvi is a name, a personality, a mission, a religious personality, a social and cultural revolutionist, a political dynamism,and a personification of humanity and liberty.
The students were guided and coordinated by Dr Mridul Mishra Assistant Professor and Head , Department of Social Work , Patna Women’s College.
