75th Independence Day Celebration

Brief Report-
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) proudly celebrated 75th Independence Day on August 14, 2021 from 4:30 pm onwards. The programme was live streamed on the official YouTube channel of Patna Women’s College. The convener for the Programme was Department of Political Science. The Programme commenced with the National Anthem smearing the essence of patriotism among the students. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College addressed the audience. The Programme proceeded with a patriotic song ‘Watan’. Further-more Dr. Vinita Priyadarshi, Head, Department of Political Science, delivered a welcome speech. Thereafter, a Dance was performed on the song “Jayatu jayatu Bharatam” followed by a skit titled ‘Swaraj’ which highlighted the Core ideas of ‘Hind Swaraj’, a book written by M.K. Gandhi. A video celebrating the success of Olympic Winners in the Tokyo Olympics 2021, was presented at the end of the programme. The Programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Fiza Darakhshan Assistant professor, Department of Political Science. The event was coordinated by the Cultural Co-ordinators, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, and Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology.The entire event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College
