A book release session on “Introduction to stress, stress management and coping mechanisms” on 17/08/2024 in Carmel Hall at 12 p.m. was organized by the Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College in collaboration with Mental Well-being Club. The program started with the welcome and prayer song. The first address was given by Dr. Sr. M Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College. With her blessings and encouraging words, the program started.
Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal, President Alumni Association, Patna Women’s College, addressed the gathering with her enlightening words. The inauguration of the book was done by Dr. Sr. M Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, Sr. Jincy A.C,. Superior, Avila Convent, Dr Ameeta Jaiswal, President, Alumni Association, Author Dr. Vinita Kochgaway and Dr. Meena Kishore, Retd. Head, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College.
Dr. Vinita Kochgaway addressed the gathering about her book and its journey. She made everyone understand about the usefulness of this book. It is important to know the stress management techniques. Also, it was added by Dr. Meena Kishore that this book is significant to youth for learning how to deal with life challenges effectively.
Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Medha, Assistant Professor Department of Psychology.
The whole event was moderated by Ms. Mukta Mrinalini, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology. The students of UG & PG Psychology attended this event.
