An interactive Session on English Proficiency

On 22nd July the Department of Social Work Under the ‘P.A.C.E CLUB’ organized an interactive Session on English Proficiency for the children of Slum area Adalatganj,. In the first half of the session both the students and the children’s had an interactive session with each other. In the second half of the session lecture was organised on the topic “Tenses & Basic Mathematics” which was about the usages of tense and maths in our daily life. The students demystified the session in the most simplest of words and a brilliant grasp on language especially english and also explaining it’s requirements in our daily life. The children were involved in the session and informed that Reading is a good habit to inculcate as 1/3 of paper comprises of English in their schools as well so command over language is essential. In the end the learners were emphasised by the students to learn, practise and test.Faculty Members
Sr Sanjana A. C.Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work and Akanksha, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work were also present . The session was quite interesting and fruitful for the childrens of slums and thus enhanced their knowledge and skills.
