Anti-ragging Day-2023
Anti-ragging Day was observed on August 12 and anti-ragging week from August 12 to 18 from this year onward to create awareness among students against ragging. This initiative, by UGC, is aimed at raising awareness and promoting a zero-tolerance approach towards ragging in educational institutions across the country. In order to promote this endeavour, Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College had also organised a Slogan Writing Competition for the students. The Department of Home Science had organised a Slogan Writing Competition on 17th of August 2023 with a view to encourage students to follow anti-ragging steps on the campus. The students of the U.G. as well as P.G. participated in this activity with great enthusiasm. The judgment of the event was done by the faculty members of the department. The winners of the program were as follows: 1st Prize – Maria Talat (P.G. Semester I), 2nd Prize – Anushka (P.G. Semester III) and 3rd Prize – Adeeba Afreen (P.G. Semester I).
