The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous , organised a Career Awareness Programme on 13.02.2023 , for the students of Faculty of Commerce in Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Cell. The Welcome Address was given by Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Head, Department of Commerce and she highlighted the importance of Professional Program like US CPA (United States Certified Public Accountant Program) .
The Resource Persons for the event were Mr. Jaideep Mallick, CA, US CPA, Chartered Global Management Accountant, CP- International Finance Management, University of Phoenix , Arizona, USA . The session was full of enriching information for the students. The resource person gave valuable insights on career options for students regarding US CPA and also gave information on how to crack the exams of US CPA and getting placed as Certified Professional Accountants in American and Multinational Companies operating in India.
Mr. Bipul Pankaj , Vice President, Sales and Marketing, MudrAdi India Pvt. Ltd addressed the students and motivated them to consider career in US CPA which is equivalent to Indian CA. The session was an engaging one with promising career perspectives.
There was an interactive session for the inquisitions regarding prospects of US CPA, which was followed by feedback session . A Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Kirti Kamal, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
