Brief Report :
Every year, Patna Women’s College holds a Cultural Programme at their premises to celebrate the ‘Carmel Feast’. This event is organized to commemorate the establishment of the Mount Carmel Institution. The programme commenced with a prayer dance performance to the song ‘Pawan din hai…’ It continued with a presentation about ‘Mount Carmel of Israel’ and a portrayal of the greatness of prophet Elyzar. Sisters and students performed two more songs, followed by a dance in honor of Mother Mariam. The audience was captivated by the exceptional performances of their fellow students. Later, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, addressed the audience, while Yashwe and Arya Shrivastava, Cabinet members, conducted the programme. Zoya Zakaria, Jt. Cultural Secretary, expressed gratitude in the closing remarks. The entire event was coordinated by Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head of the Department of History, along with Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas and Ms. Samiksha Sinha, Assistant Professors in the Department of Sociology. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, provided guidance throughout the event.
