Day -3
On the third day of the Career Fair , an informative session was organised on ‘Investors Protection and Career Options in the Financial Market’.
Dr. Soofia Fatima, H.O.D , highlighted upon the importance of financial literacy as well as digital financial literacy and she guided the students to implore their potential and abilities to carve a niche for themselves in the financial market career opportunities.
Shri Gagan Kumar Singh , Senior Officer, Bombay Stock Exchange, Regional Office, Patna was the Resource Person. His elaborate explanation on Investments , investors protection , stock market, workings of Bombay Stock Exchange and utility of certificate courses in financial market modules were the major key takeaways from the session. He gave insight on trading and other career options in this realm.
Students’ queries were addressed on generating income, saving, investment decisions, dummy transactions to learn stock trading. The students of B.Com, BBA,AMM and Economics Honours were happy to attend the session. They gave positive feedback for the informative sessions as well as for the guidance and motivation for accomplishments of their future goals. Ms. Nikky delivered the Vote of Thanks . It was attended by the teachers of the Department of Commerce – CS Shweta Shah, Ms. Kirti Kamal, Ms.Sagarika, Ms. Neha, Mr.Gautam Saurabh, Ms.Mona, Ms.Sohini Priya, Mr.Anup Sharma. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
