Day 2

A session on ‘Career Avenues in Accounting and Auditing’ was organised by the Department of Commerce on the second day of the Career Fair.

Dr Soofia Fatima , H.O.D, welcomed the Resource Persons and briefed the students on the role of commerce education and the utility of professional programmes in shaping  their career.

CA Sujeet , CICASA Chairman, Patna Branch of ICAI shared his expertise in the profession and explained to the students the strategy to  swiftly complete the CA Programme.

CA Pallavi Jha, Vice Chairperson, Patna Branch of ICAI, shared with the students her journey to be a Chartered Accountant. She is alumna of Patna Women’s College. She elaborated to the students the entire process and steps to qualify for all the exams conducted by ICAI.

The eminent speaker CA Chirantan Bhattacharya, ICAI, Patna, gave  a comprehensive Presentation to enlighten the participants on the illustrious profession of Chartered Accountancy. It was followed by an interactive session, throwing light on various aspects of  the profession. The students were delighted to attend the session and for the guidance to build a magnificent  career in this field.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Kirti Kamal. It was attended by all the teachers of the Department of Commerce. The Programme concluded with the National Anthem.
