Educational Trip cum Outreach Programme

On August 17th, 2024 The Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College ( Autonomous) Patna University organized an Educational Trip cum Outreach Programme to Shrikrishna Science Centre, West Gandhi Maidan, Patna to celebrate National Space Day . This year’s theme for National Space Day “Touching Lives While Touching the moon”. This trip was not only educational but also incredibly inspiring for everyone involved . Approximately 35 students were present including MJC and MDC Physics .
The visit began with a group photograph then the students were guided through various exhibits . Some of the highlights were the 3D show on Apollo mission and SOS ( Science of Sphere) which took us a virtual journey through the Solar systems . The students were guided by Md. Aftab Hussain , Education Assistant B who made the experience even more engaging. As he talked about the solar system he began explaining the basics of our cosmic neighbourhood starting with the sun making it more fun and informative . The visit to the science centre was an enlightening experience that deepened our appreciation for the wonders of space especially the ISRO .It was a reminder of the vastness of our universe and on going human quest to explore it.
