Brief Report : 

Patna Women’s College celebrated its 78th Founder’s Day on 29.08.2018 .  The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Sister Marie Jessie A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College; Archbishop William D’Souza S.J.; Dr. Sister Doris D’Souza A.C., Provincial Superior and Sister Lovita A.C. The programme was followed by the Prayer dance after which Dr. Sister Marie Jessie A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College addressed the Chief Guests present in the event. The Chief guests included Archbishop William D’Souza S.J., Dr. Sister Doris D’Souza A.C. and Sister Lovita A.C. A traditional folk dance and a solo classical dance was performed by the participants which left the audience enthralled. Then, A Patriotic song was performed. A mime was performed with a message of Saving the Girl Child and the programme concluded with a patriotic dance. Archbishop William D’Souza S.J. also addressed the gathering and delivered a beautiful message that being educated means to have a character of strength and the intellect that can be expanded wisely and enable a person to stand on one’s own feet.
