The much-awaited fresher’s day program finally took place on 28.07.2023 at Department of Mathematics, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous. The program gave the fresher’s an opportunity to put forward their interests through various activities. It was a day filled with excitement, new beginnings, and a whole lot of fun for the newly admitted students of UG Sem-1.
Our special invitees on the occasion was Dr. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Patna Women’s College and Ms. Nimisha Manan, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Patna Women’s College.
The program started with our college anthem. The highlight of the event was the cultural performances put up by the fresher’s. They showcased their talents in dance, music, and poetry. The performances were captivating and filled with energy and enthusiasm.
Dr. Seema Mishra, Head, Department of Mathematics, Patna Women‘s College greeted all the fresher’s and the gathering with a warm welcome speech. She also shared some words of advice and encouragement, inspiring the fresher’s to make the most of their time here.
Ms. Nimisha Manan appreciated the hard work and performances of the students, motivating the new batch to participate more actively in future.
Dr. Priyanka cherished all the efforts and arrangements of the students and emphasized the importance of this day in their college journey.
Towards the end of the program, Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Jaya Bhushan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Patna Women‘s College.
Overall, the fresher’s day program was a memorable day for everyone. It was a perfect blend of entertainment, orientation, and social interaction. It was a glimpse into the immense talent these new students possess.
