Brief Report of the programme – 45
Patna Women’s College organised Freshers’ Day as a Two Day Event. The first day was for the students of 1st year of B.A. and B.Sc. on 19.07.2018. The moderator of the Programme was Astha and Komal of the Department of History. The programme began with a vandana, which was a solo dance performed by Ishita Dev of the Department of English. This was followed by a solo song by Nandini of the Department of Botany. A group of students performed a fusion dance on the song ‘Chal chhaiya chhaiya’.The students of the Department of Psychology presented a group song on women empowerment ‘Bekhouf azaad hai rahna mujhe…’.The last performance was a skit presented by the students of the Department of English. At the end of the programme Principal, Dr. Sister Marie Jessie A.C. addressed the students welcomed the students and appreciated them for their active participation.The event was concluded with a vote of thanks. Students expressed Gratitude to the Principal, teachers, students and the technical staff who made the event a success.
