Brief Report:
The Department of Psychology organized a guest lecture on the topic of Reiki on 2nd April 2022. The lecture was held at Room No.9 and was attended by 36 students and faculty members. The guest speaker was Prof. Kanak Verma (Retd) Director, IPRS, Patna University.
During the lecture, Prof. Kanak Verma provided an overview of the principles and practices of Reiki. They explained that Reiki is a form of alternative medicine that originated in Japan and involves the transfer of energy through the palms of the practitioner to promote healing and balance in the recipient.
Prof. Kanak Verma also discussed the history of Reiki and its development over time. They shared their personal experiences with Reiki and provided examples of how it can be used to improve physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
