Brief Report:

The Department of Botany organized a Hands-on-Training program on instrumentation at Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRI), Patna for Semester II students. Advanced instruments like PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Nano Spectrophotometer and Fluorometer were effectively demonstrated. Students also had an opportunity to visit the Tissue Culture Lab where they got the chance to operate Inverted Microscope, Fluorescent Microscope and Dark Phase Microscope. Working principles and handling of all these instruments were effectively shared by the experts.
