ISO Team Visit for Stage II Audit to the Department of Computer Applications (MCA) 14.06.2023

On 14.06.2023 at 2:30 p.m., the ISO team conducted a stage II audit at the Department of Computer Applications (MCA). During their visit, they attended a class session on artificial intelligence taught by Ms. Poonam Abraham Lakra, which was part of the MCA Semester III curriculum.

Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head of the Department of Computer Applications, warmly welcomed the team members and provided an overview of the department by delivering a presentation on its profile.
The team proceeded to inquire about the syllabus, its revision frequency, and the methods employed for revision. They thoroughly examined all the relevant documents, including the teaching plan, internal evaluation process, answer copies, project reports, and certificates pertaining to the students’ company internships. Additionally, they verified the timetable and individual workload of the teachers. The team also assessed the online submission of students’ assignments and the feedback received on the Learning Management System (LMS).

The Department’s visit received positive feedback from the ISO team, as it yielded satisfactory results. They particularly appreciated the effectiveness of the Learning Management System and the Department’s implementation of certificate courses in Data Science, 3D Animation, Android App Development, and Internet of Things.
During the visit, the active participation and support of faculty members were notable. Ms. Sushmita Chakraborty, Mr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Priyadarshini, and Ms. Pratima were present and contributed significantly throughout the visit.
