Day- 01 (Pledge Taking)

The Department of Political Science conducted pledge taking campaign on ‘Mera pehla vote Desh ke liye’ on 4th March 2024 at 12 noon in room no.402 and 101. Students of BA sem-4th and 6th participated in this pledge. A total of 235 students took the pledge and filled the online form and downloaded their certificates.

Day- 02

Students from different disciplines were asked to download the Voters App. The programme was moderated by Dr. Vinita priyedarshi,Head Department of Political Science, also the Nodal officer, Electoral Literacy Club.

Day- 02( Essay and slogan writing competition)

Electoral Literacy Club conducted Essay,Debate and slogan writing competition under Government of India Election campaign ‘mera pehla vote Desh ke liye’. A total of 37 students from MA 2nd semester and 4th semester enthusiastically participated in room no. 42 in these events showcasing their knowledge and passion for civic engagement. The initiative not only fostered awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility and empowerment among student community regarding their role in shaping nation’s future through democratic participation.

Electoral Literacy Club of Patna Women’s College conducted Poster making and painting competition under Government of India election campaign ‘mera pehla vote Desh ke liye’. The competition was open to all. The students of Political Science Department demonstrated their creativity by crafting posters on the relevance of voting further emphasising the importance of active participation in the electoral process.
Electoral Literacy Club of Patna Women’s College organised Debate competition under Government of India Election campaign ‘ mera pehla vote Desh ke liye’ BA sem-4th. Students of Political Science Department participated in debate on the topic ‘One Nation, One Election’. They enthusiastically participated in 8 groups.
