Every year, August 21 is celebrated as the WED: World Entrepreneurs’ Day. The purpose of the World Entrepreneurs’ Day is to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership throughout the world. WED is the perfect day to celebrate the people who start a business alone. WED is the day of founders, managers, producers, contractors, industrialists, innovators, administrators, designers and producers. Patna Women’s College in Collaboration with Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre (MVEIC) Organised an exclusive one-day webinar on “Innovation Ecosystem: The Game-Changer” on 22st August, 2021, a live session Webinar on Zoom platform and YouTube continued for more than an hour. The moderator of the event was Reeya Prakash, Premier, Patna Women’s College. Mr. Alok John, Director Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre, Patna Women’s College, gave the opening address. The webinar proceeded with a Virtual tour which portrayed the visual journey and achievements of Patna Women’s College. Astha Anand, Jt General Secretary introduced speaker of the event Ms Anubha Prasad, The Founder and CEO of “Karekeba ventures.” Further Ms Anubha Prasad shared her journey from being a National Coordinator, India as the UN Environmental Programme (2018-2020) to starting her own startup at her native place Bihar. Fixing the moment with a quote “Innovation distinguishes between a Leader and a Follower” She propagated the importance of innovation and innovation Ecosystem.

The board topic of discussion was how is startup different, fund-raise is least important for success. The students were enlightened by the interactive session and also put forward their question to Ma’am. Noor Fatima, student member, Institution’s Innovation Council, Patna Women’s College proposed the vote of Thanks.
