Parent Teacher Meeting -Department of Physics
The department of Physics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organized a Parent Teacher Meeting on 30th September, 2023 from 11:30am for the students of B.Sc. Honours Physics semester III and semester V.
The agenda of the meeting was discussion about mid semester marks ( CIA) and briefing about NAAC. Around 62 parents from the two batches attended the meeting.
The meeting began with a welcome song followed by Welcome address by Dean Science and Head Dept. of Physics Dr. Aprajita Krishna. Then Dr. Kavita Verma explained about the different activities conducted by the college for the overall personality development of students. The parents also shared their views and expectations. They appreciated the discipline and holistic education imparted at the college and also the facilities available in the department. Dr. Amrita briefed about the opportunities through NSS, NCC and placement drives. She also proposed the vote of thanks.
After the formal meeting the parents met all the faculty members in person to discuss about their ward’s performance. It was an interactive session where there was mutual exchange of ideas and suggestions from parents and teachers. The event turned out to be successful because of enthusiastic participation of parents and students.
