Patna Chapter of seminar series ‘We Speak Too’

On 29th April 2023, the members of Srishti Environment Club of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) under the guidance of club coordinator Ms. Meenakshi Mishra participated in the Patna Chapter of seminar series ‘We Speak Too’ organised by Indian Institute of Human Settlements in collaboration with Alliance of Waste Pickers at Bihar Industries Associatikn in the Industries House, Patna. Voice of seven sanitation workers and their stories, challenges and experiences was narrated. The seminar was aimed to function as a space for sanitation workers to share their voices. It is an attempt to listen to sanitation workers and understand aspects of their lives from their own perspectives. The event was followed by an interactive session between the panelists and students.
