Brief Report:
The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) organised the Personality Development and Soft Skills classe on the topic of “Career and Planning Management”. Career development is an ongoing process of gaining knowledge and improving skills that will help an individual to establish a career plan. The objective of this session was to spread awareness about different career development options for the MCA students. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Alok John. The resource person discussed the following topics:
- Importance of career development
- Career anchors (technical, managerial, security and stability)
- Career stages (exploration, establishment, maintenance, late)
- Importance of career planning
The students were highly excited to learn about the different aspects of Career and Planning Management. The session was quite beneficial for them.
