Brief Report:
Leadership is important because it inspires, motivates, and sets an example for people to
accomplish positive changes in the world. The Department of Computer Applications (MCA)
has organized a lecture on the topic “Leadership” to help the MCA students develop the
leadership skills in them. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Nusrath Sohail. The resource
person discussed the following topics:
- Qualities of a Leader and Leadership
o Behaviour
o Communication skills
o Vision
o Discipline, etc.
- Discussion on Renowned Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Adolf Hitler, etc.
- Leadership at different levels of management (Top, Middle, Lower)
The students gained a lot of knowledge about developing leadership qualities. They learned how to lead a group of people, how leadership skill is important in an organization, how to become a good leader and so many things regarding leadership skill that are definitely going to help them in their career in future.
