Swachh Campus Abhiyan

The ECO Task Force, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized a Swachh Campus Abhiyan to make the students aware of the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, waste management and recycling.
Swachh Campus Abhiyan is an initiative by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India to promote cleanliness and hygiene in higher education institutions. It aims to create awareness and encourage students, teachers, and staff to maintain a clean and green campus.
Altogether 115 students of UG Sem-III and V and PG Sem-III, Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College participated in the event.
The Abhiyan also encouraged the students to develop sustainable practices, engage in community service, and foster a culture of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
Dr Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Dept of Zoology and Vice President ECO Task Force, Dr Sumeet Ranjan, Secretary, ECO Task Force, Dr Sapna Kumari, Dr Neetu, Mr Rajeev Ranjan and Ms Aishwarya were present on the occasion.
