Brief Report-
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) joyfully celebrated Teacher’s Day on the 5th of September 2022, with great enthusiasm, following the theme of “Retro” to evoke nostalgia from different eras of entertainment. The event aimed to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s first Vice President, and honor the significance of teachers in the lives of students. The program commenced with a Guru Vandana (a tribute to the teachers) and a warm welcome to the audience through a delightful wishing song performed by the student sisters. A heartfelt poetry recitation followed, emphasizing the importance of the student-teacher relationship. Several engaging games were organized, including Enacting the Dialogue, Guess the Song, and Treasure Hunt, in which teachers wholeheartedly participated. A mesmerizing thematic dance performance depicted the transformation of a girl into a proud PWCian, portraying her journey of growth under the guidance of the institution. This was followed by a captivating Qawwali presented by a group of students, highlighting the beautiful bond between teachers and students. The program then took everyone back in time with a Retro Dance, recreating the magic of bygone eras. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the Principal of Patna Women’s College, extended her wishes to the teachers and congratulated all the participants. As a surprise, a group of teachers delivered a delightful group song.
