Brief Report–

On March 12, 2023, Patna Women’s College organized a Thanksgiving Day event to bid farewell to the outgoing UG and PG students. The program began with a warm welcome address from Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., the Head of the Department of History and Cultural Coordinator. The PWC choir then sang a prayer song, followed by readings from Holy Scriptures such as the Bible, the Quran, and the Bhagwat Geeta. Shambhavi Kashyap, the Former Premier, delivered a gratitude speech, sharing her personal journey and experiences during her three-year stay at Patna Women’s College. She expressed deep gratitude towards the Principal, Sisters, teachers, staff members, college management, and fellow students. Additionally, students from different disciplines, including Arts, Vocational, and Commerce, delivered speeches expressing their gratitude and reflecting on their time at the college. The Dean and Heads of various departments provided words of wisdom, inspiring the students and wishing them the best of luck. They encouraged the students to stay connected to their Alma Mater and always shine brightly. Dr. Aprajita Krishna, the Dean, Faculty of Science and Head, Department of Physics, Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean, Commerce and Head, Department of Commerce, Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Head, Department of Political Science, and Miss Manisha Prasad, Head, Department of Computer Science, addressed the outgoing UG and PG students who were embarking on a new chapter in their lives. Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, instilled confidence in the graduating students, assuring them that they were academically, spiritually, and morally prepared to face the challenges that lie ahead.
