the session on Personal hygiene and cleanliness

The students of Department of Social Work visited Female Remand Home,Gai Ghat, Patna. On 25.03.23 as part of PACE CLUB , Deptt of Social Work. The Childrens of remand home attended the session on Personal hygiene and cleanliness, the students of social work with the help of posters, Skits and some videos related to hygiene made them understand how important personal hygiene and clean environment is for them. They were also taught the 7 steps of WHO for Hand Wash for 20 secs, they were also informed about the importance of healthy life style and to develop a healthy routine that involves regular brushing of teeth, washing hands for 20 seconds, cleaning and trimming nails, and taking a proper bath every day. Etc. also they were told to use masks whenever and where required so that they are protected from any sort of infection or germs. After displaying some motivational videos, the children’s were asked one by one about their daily routine. The children of remand home participated with interest and the session ended up by sharing the experiences.
