Celebrating World Cinema Day: ‘Children of Heaven’ Screened in a Cinematic Extravaganza for the students of semester 1 and semester 3.
On the occasion of World Cinema Day, an extraordinary cinematic experience awaits film enthusiasts and students of the Department of Mass Communication as the critically acclaimed movie ‘Children of Heaven’ takes center stage in a special screening event. The occasion promises to be a celebration of International cinema and a tribute to the art of storytelling through film.
The event was inaugurated by the HOD of the Department of Mass Communication Ms. Roma. The resource person ‘Children of Heaven’ directed by the renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi, is a heartwarming and thought-provoking tale of a brother and sister’s quest for a lost pair of shoes in the bustling streets of Tehran. The film, known for its universal themes and captivating storytelling, has touched the hearts of audiences worldwide. This exclusive screening event, organized by the Department of Mass Communication, aims to showcase the power of cinema in bridging cultures and emotions. The film has been chosen for its ability to connect people of all backgrounds, transcending language and cultural barriers and resonating with the universal human experience.
