The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, organised ‘3 Days Career Fair’, starting from 17th October to 19th October 2023 , and invited  Reserve Bank of India , The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited.         This

Inter-disciplinary event was inaugurated on 17th October 2023, for the interested  students of

B.Com, BBA, Advertising and Marketing Management, and B.A (Economics  Honours) in Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre.

Day 1:

Recruitment Drive and Awareness Campaign by Reserve Bank of India was organised on the first day of career fair.

The Welcome Address was given by Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean, Faculty of Commerce &  Head, Department of Commerce. She emphasised on the career  orientation and career development of the students. During the address,  she focussed on the importance of awareness and insight on various career options and motivated students  to focus  on job-market readiness. Banking Service is  one of the most sought-after career options.

The Resource person for the event on 17th October 2023 were – Ms. Tanya Agarwal Manager, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India. Her session was on Recruitment Awareness  for RBI Services. It was full of enriching information for the  students of second  year and final year of B. Com, BBA, AMM, and B.A (Economics).

The resource person  Shri Kumar Sambhava Sigh gave valuable insights related to vigilance awareness.

At the end, there was a question – answer round and interaction with the students . Vote of Thanks was proposed by CS Shweta Shah.  Dr. Zareen Fatma, Head, Department of Economics also joined the programme.  It was attended by teachers of the Department of Commerce- Ms. Kirti Kamal, Ms. Puja Kumari, Ms. Sagarika, Ms. Neha Kumari Gupta, Mr. Gautam Saurabh,  Ms. Nikky, Ms. Mona, Ms. Sohini and Mr. Anup Sharma. The Programme concluded with the National Anthem.
