AMM-Anti-Ragging Report -2023
On 12th August 2023, at 9:30 a.m., Anti -Ragging Day was organized for all the semester students of Advertising and Marketing Management (AMM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Management (PGDAMM). A video on anti-ragging was shown with the objective to aware students about the anti-ragging acts and their effects.
In the video it was shown that how three senior boys passed comments on a junior girl and asked the junior boys to open their shirt in front of everybody. Later on they were caught via. CCTV camera, and then was punished by the management and strict actions were taken against them. In the video it was overall shown that how ragging gives mental traumas and harassment to the junior students which affects them mentally and emotionally and even the life of the senior students who rags gets affected.
The aim of showing the video to the students was to make them aware how ragging can destroy their career in future. So, it is advised that students should not involve themselves in any kind of wrong activities which can be harmful for them and others as well.
