BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On 29.09.2023, a Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized by National Service Scheme, (NSS) Patna Women’s College and Health Centre, Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College in collaboration with Kurji Holy Family Hospital, Patna at Patna Women’s College from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Camp was organized by the program officers Dr. Shahla Rehana, Associate Professor, Department of English and Dr. Amrita, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Dr. Shazia Hussain, Incharge Health Centre, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science. The Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C and Vice Principal Sister M.Tanisha A.C. also came to motivate and congratulate the volunteers for participating for this noble cause. Dr. Reena Ranjan, incharge, Blood bank – Kurji Holy Family Hospital came with her team for conducting the camp. Total of 48 students registered and 21 units of blood was donated under the one-day camp. Before the blood donation, a test was also conducted for checking the blood group as well as the hemoglobin percentage in the blood of the students who had come to donate blood.
