Brief Report –

Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) enthusiastically celebrated Independence Day on the 13th of August, 2022, in the Open-air stage hall to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The program commenced with an inspiring speech by Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, the Head of the Department of Political Science. In her address, she discussed the Indian struggle for freedom spanning 200 years and motivated the students. Following the speech, there was a mesmerizing duet dance performance, a captivating group song, and a dance drama depicting India’s relentless struggle against British colonialism. The event reached its conclusion with an address by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the Principal of Patna Women’s College. She highlighted the contributions of our national heroes and expressed her appreciation for the organizing team. The entire event was skillfully coordinated by the cultural coordinators, Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Ms. Samiksha Sinha, and Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas. Their dedicated efforts ensured the success of the event and its meaningful celebration of our country’s independence.
