International day for Disaster Risk Reduction was observed by the college environment club ‘Srishti’ under the coordinating department Geography on 13.10.2023. A special lecture was delivered by Shri P. N. Rai, retd. IPS and the Member, Bihar State Disaster Management Authority on the key issues of disaster management with special reference to risk reduction. The newly enrolled members of the club attended the session. The event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, Head, Department of Geography and Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Coordinator, Srishti Club.
