The Department of Political Science celebrated International Human Rights Day by forming human chain on 9th December, 2023 at 11:30 am outside college gate. The chain was formed by students of BA Semester IV, BA Semester VI, MA Semester IV and NCC cadets along with Head and other faculty members of the Department. Students formed the chain beginning from college gate to Income Tax Roundabout and held placards with slogans and posters related to human rights, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, principles of human rights etc. The students enthusiastically participated in the chain formation and depicted the significance of the day in unison. The entire programme was covered by media persons who also interviewed the students regarding importance of the day and the status of the rights of women in Bihar.
